Die Hard on NES is exactly what it sounds like—you're John McClane, barefoot and pissed off, crawling through air ducts and blasting terrorists in a pixelated Nakatomi Plaza. The controls are stiff (it is an NES game), but there's something weirdly satisfying about disarming bad guys with a well-timed punch or finding a hidden pistol in a bathroom stall.

You'll hop between floors, rescue hostages who just stand there like mannequins (seriously, they don’t even run), and occasionally stumble into a room full of guys with machine guns. The "Real Vision" thing? Basically just a weird top-down map that makes everything look like blueprints. Not exactly groundbreaking, but hey, it’s 1980s Die Hard—what did you expect?

It’s janky, it’s tough, and the music loops will haunt your dreams. But if you’ve ever wanted to yell "Yippee-ki-yay" while pixel-hunting for keycards, this is your chance.
