Die Hard on NES is one of those weird but kinda fun movie tie-ins from the late '80s. You play as John McClane—yippee-ki-yay and all that—but instead of the movie's skyscraper setting, you're running around a top-down maze of floors, taking out terrorists with whatever guns you scavenge. The controls are a little stiff, but there's something satisfying about clearing rooms and rescuing hostages while that tinny NES soundtrack blares in the background.

It's not exactly like the movie, but if you can get past the janky movement, there's a decent challenge here. Just don't expect Bruce Willis's one-liners—the NES wasn't exactly big on voice acting.
