Destruction Derby 64 is exactly what it sounds like—pure, unapologetic car-smashing chaos. You start off picking a beat-up ride (they all handle like boats, but that’s half the fun) and then just… ram into everything. The physics are janky in that classic N64 way, so cars flip, crumple, and sometimes just explode for no reason.
The arenas are small, tight, and packed with other drivers who clearly didn’t read the "no bumping" rulebook. There’s a weird satisfaction in timing a perfect T-bone or sending someone spinning into a wall. And yeah, it’s technically a racing game, but let’s be real—nobody’s here to win clean laps.
It’s not deep, but it’s loud, dumb, and exactly what you’d want from a late-night couch multiplayer session. Just don’t expect Gran Turismo.
