Dead Heat Scramble (japan) Game

Dead Heat Scramble is one of those weird little Game Boy racers that somehow sticks with you. It's got this chunky, low-res charm where your bike looks like a pixelated toy, but the controls are surprisingly tight once you get used to them.
You start off picking between a few different bikes—I always went for the blue one because it felt slightly less wobbly on turns. The tracks are short but packed with obstacles, and if you hit them just right, you can actually use ramps to cut corners. Mess up, though, and you'll eat dirt while the other riders zip past.
It's not the deepest racer out there, but there's something satisfying about nailing a perfect lap. The music's got that classic Game Boy bleep-bloop energy too. Definitely a hidden gem if you're into retro racing games.
