About Darkwing Duck
Darkwing Duck on the Game Boy came out in 1993 from Capcom, the same company that handled the NES version. It was a time when licensed games based on cartoons were common, and this one fit right into the portable library alongside other Disney titles. The game is a side scrolling action platformer where you control Darkwing Duck himself.
You move through levels screen by screen, using your gas gun to shoot enemies and jumping across platforms. The main goal is to defeat bosses and stop the Fearsome Five. You can find upgrades for your gun, like a wider shot or a more powerful blast, by breaking open certain blocks.
