Darkwing Duck on Game Boy is basically Mega Man in a purple cape—which, honestly, is a great combo. You’re bouncing around St. Canard blasting goons with your gas gun, ducking under projectiles, and occasionally muttering "let’s get dangerous" under your breath (or maybe that’s just me).
The levels have that classic 90s Disney vibe—bright colors, goofy enemies, and bosses that look like they escaped from a Saturday morning cartoon. The controls are tight, though some jumps feel a little punishing if you miss. Pro tip: the wall climb move is weirdly satisfying once you get the hang of it.
It’s short, but that just means you’ll probably replay it to find all the hidden 1-ups. Definitely one of the better Disney-to-game adaptations from that era.
