Play Daffy Duck : The Marvin Missions Online

I picked up Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions for the Game Boy back in 1994. It was published by Sunsoft, one of those many licensed platformers that filled the portable library at the time. The game puts you in control of Daffy Duck, who is trying to stop Marvin the Martian from his usual world-ending schemes. It was a familiar premise for anyone who played cartoons on their handheld.

You guide Daffy through side scrolling levels, jumping across platforms and avoiding enemies. The main goal is to navigate each stage, find the exit, and eventually confront Marvin. A couple of things stand out: you collect carrots scattered through the levels, and you can find a slingshot to shoot projectiles at enemies you'd rather not touch. The game moves at a brisk pace, and some of the platforming requires precise timing, making it a decent challenge for a portable title. Playing it feels like a quick, sometimes tricky, run through a classic cartoon scenario.
