Cycle Race - Road Man (japan) Game

Ever tried a bike racing game where the controls feel like you're actually fighting the road? That's Cycle Race - Road Man for you. It's this obscure Japan-only NES game where you pedal like mad, shift gears at just the right moment, and lean into turns so hard you’ll swear your thumbs are gonna cramp.
The tracks are brutal—narrow roads, sudden hills, and other cyclists who love to box you out. At first, I kept wiping out on the tight corners, but once you get the rhythm of tapping A to pedal faster without burning out, it clicks. The music’s got that classic 8-bit urgency, like it’s yelling at you to go faster even when your stamina bar’s flashing red.
It’s not polished like Excitebike, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about how janky and intense it feels. You’ll either love it or throw your controller after the third race. No in-between.
