Cybernoid on the NES is one of those brutally tough shooters that makes you question your life choices after the third game over. You pilot this little ship through maze-like levels packed with enemies that respawn if you blink wrong, and the controls take some getting used to—no diagonal shots here, just pure precision. The music slaps though, all synthy and intense, which helps when you're stuck on the same screen for 20 minutes.
