CyberTiger on N64 is one of those golf games that doesn’t take itself too seriously—which is exactly why it’s fun. You’ve got Tiger Woods (yes, that Tiger Woods) smacking balls with ridiculous power-ups, like shots that split mid-air or bounce off water like skipping stones. The courses are over-the-top too, with neon-lit futuristic greens and hazards that feel more arcade than Augusta.
At first, I thought it’d just be a gimmicky golf sim, but there’s actually some strategy here—timing your swing matters, and those power-ups? They’re not just flashy, they change how you approach each hole. Also, the commentary’s cheesy in the best way possible. If you’ve ever wanted to see Tiger Woods launch a glowing golf ball through a windmill, this is your game.
