Custom Robo on N64 is one of those games that feels way ahead of its time. You start off with this tiny robot in a garage, swapping out legs, guns, and even little jet boosters like you're building some kind of deadly action figure. At first I just slapped on whatever looked cool, but after getting wrecked a few times, you realize there's actual strategy here—fast legs make dodging easier, but heavy armor lets you tank hits.
The battles are these chaotic 3D arena brawls where you're dashing around, firing weird weapons like homing missiles or bubble guns (yes, bubble guns), and trying not to get cornered. The customization gets addictive fast—I spent way too long tweaking my robo just to counter a friend's cheap flamethrower build. It's got that "one more match" energy, especially with multiplayer.
If you like tinkering with builds and fast-paced fights, this one's a hidden gem from the N64 era.
