Cult Master is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that shouldn’t work but totally does. You start off with a handful of brainwashed followers in some dingy hideout, and from there, it’s all about scheming your way to power—convincing townspeople to join, managing resources (because even cults need food and cash), and dealing with rival groups trying to shut you down.

The pixel art nails that eerie-but-charming retro vibe, and the strategy side of things is surprisingly deep. Do you send your cultists to gather supplies or have them spread propaganda? Mess up, and you’ll either starve or get raided. It’s got that addictive "one more turn" feel, even if the subject matter is… questionable. Definitely not for the easily offended, but if you like dark humor and old-school strategy, this one’s a blast.
