Remember that arcade racing vibe from the late '90s? Cruis'n World nails it—over-the-top speed, ridiculous jumps, and tracks that whip you from Egypt to Australia in seconds. The N64 version keeps the chaotic fun of the arcade original, though the graphics are definitely of their time (blocky palm trees, pixelated crowds).
First race drops you in Tokyo at night, neon signs blurring past as you bounce over traffic dividers like they're ramps. The handling's loose—you'll fishtail like crazy if you floor it the whole time—but that's part of the charm. Multiplayer's where it shines, especially with the rubber-banding AI that keeps races stupidly close even when someone's clearly better.
Don't expect realism, just pure arcade nonsense with a globe-trotting twist. The announcer yelling "COWABUNGA!" when you pick the surfboard car never gets old.
