Crazy Climber is this weirdly addictive NES game where you play as some lunatic scaling skyscrapers with nothing but sheer determination. At first it seems simple—just climb, right? But then windows start slamming shut on your fingers, angry bald guys chuck flower pots at your head, and out of nowhere, a giant condor swoops in to drop... well, let's just say it's not confetti.
The controls take a minute to get used to—you're basically mashing two buttons to move each hand independently. Mess up the rhythm and you'll dangle helplessly while some jerk upstairs lobs a dumbbell at you. And don't even get me started on the King Kong knockoff who shows up just to punch you off the building like you owe him money.
It's janky, unfair, and the collision detection hates you, but there's something hilarious about watching your little guy flail as he plummets past 30 floors. You'll either rage-quit in five minutes or keep retrying just to see what fresh nonsense the next building throws at you.
