Cosmo Tank is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that somehow makes a tank feel fast and nimble. You're zipping around these tight space arenas, blasting aliens while dodging their shots—it's got that perfect "easy to pick up, tough to master" thing going on.
At first, I thought it was just another top-down shooter, but the tank controls actually matter. You can't just spin on a dime, so you learn to plan your moves a second ahead. The terrain gets tricky too—some spots slow you down, others block shots, and the enemies get meaner fast.
It's got that classic Game Boy vibe where the screen feels just big enough to keep things tense. One minute you're clearing waves smoothly, the next you're barely scraping by with a sliver of health. Definitely worth a shot if you like retro games with a bit of bite.
