Command & Conquer on the N64 is one of those rare console ports that actually works—surprisingly well, too. You start off picking between GDI or Nod, and right away, you're scrambling to build refineries, harvest Tiberium, and fend off attacks. The controls take a second to get used to (console RTS, after all), but once it clicks, it’s weirdly satisfying.
The German version plays just like the original, though the voice acting’s obviously different. The campaign missions are brutal in that classic C&C way—expect to restart when you realize you didn’t build enough turrets. And yeah, multiplayer’s a blast if you’ve got a buddy and a second controller. Just don’t let them spam tanks while you’re still setting up your base.
It’s not as smooth as the PC version, but for a late-90s console strategy game? Way better than it had any right to be.
