Clay Fighter 63 1-3 is one of those weird, charming N64 fighters that never took itself seriously. The whole thing looks like it was sculpted out of Play-Doh—characters wobble when they walk, punches send globs of clay flying, and even the announcer sounds like he’s trying not to laugh. It’s janky in that late-90s way, but that’s part of the fun.
You’ve got fighters like a stretchy blue blob, a snowman with a temper, and a sumo wrestler who turns into a tornado. The moves are ridiculous (one guy literally throws his head at you), and the stages have dumb little details, like a carnival where clowns heckle you from the sidelines. It’s not as tight as Street Fighter or Tekken, but if you want something silly to play with friends after a few drinks, this nails the vibe.
Just don’t expect online tournaments—this is pure couch chaos.
