City Connection is this weirdly charming NES game where you’re just a little car trying to outrun cops by jumping between platforms. It sounds simple, but the controls take some getting used to—you’ll be jerking left and right, barely making jumps at first, until it finally clicks. The roads are full of oil slicks and random obstacles, so you’re constantly swerving or hopping over gaps while the cops tail you.
It’s one of those games where the music sticks in your head for days, even if you’re not sure if you love or hate it. And yeah, the physics are a little janky, but that’s part of the fun—you’ll laugh when you accidentally yeet yourself off the screen mid-jump. If you dig old-school arcade-style chaos, it’s a solid time waster.
Controls are straightforward: arrows to move, Z/X for actions. Just don’t expect it to hold your hand—this is pure ’80s difficulty.
