Charlie Blast's Territory came out for the Nintendo 64 in 1999, developed by Realtime Associates. You control Charlie Blast, a demolition expert, and your job is to clear each single screen level of its colored blocks by making them explode. The main objective is to set off chain reactions; you place a bomb, it detonates, and if that explosion touches another group of the same color, those blow up too. You have to clear all the blocks before your limited number of bombs runs out. The game is methodical, requiring you to study the layout and plan your bomb placements carefully to set off the biggest combos. It feels satisfying when a single bomb sets off a domino effect that clears half the screen in a colorful flash.
