Centre Court Tennis on N64 is one of those arcade-style tennis games that nails the fast, responsive feel of the sport without getting bogged down in realism. You pick from a roster of pros (some real, some fictional) and jump straight into matches—no career mode or fluff, just quick sets where timing your swings actually matters.
The controls are simple—A for topspin, B for slice—but there’s a surprising amount of nuance in shot placement. Doubles mode is where it shines, especially with a friend; the AI isn’t brilliant, but it’s chaotic enough to keep rallies fun. Graphics are bright and chunky in that classic N64 way, though don’t expect Wimbledon-level detail.
It’s not as deep as later tennis sims, but if you want something pick-up-and-play with that ‘90s arcade energy, this still holds up.
