You control Sonia Belmont, an ancestor of the Belmont clan, who ventures into Dracula's castle to defeat him. Your main goal is to fight through the castle's stages, defeat the bosses at the end of each, and ultimately face Dracula. Key mechanics include using your whip as a primary weapon and collecting special items that grant temporary abilities, such as a triple shot or a protective shield.
