Castelian (or Nebulus, depending on where you played it) is one of those weirdly satisfying NES platformers where you climb these giant, spinning towers. You play as this little blob creature—kinda cute, kinda weird—jumping between platforms while the whole structure rotates under you. Mess up a jump, and you're plunging straight into the water below.
The controls take a second to get used to since the tower's movement affects your jumps, but once it clicks, it's oddly hypnotic. Some levels have these sneaky hidden paths, and figuring out the tower's layout before it spins you into oblivion is half the fun. Just don't expect it to go easy on you—this one's got that classic '80s difficulty.
If you ever played Tower Toppler on other systems, this is the NES version with the same weird charm.
