Oh man, Casper on the Game Boy—this one takes me back. It's a side-scroller where you play as the friendly ghost himself, floating through haunted mansions and solving puzzles. The controls are simple but kinda floaty (which makes sense, since, you know, ghost physics).
First thing you'll notice is how surprisingly moody the atmosphere is for a Game Boy game. The music's got this eerie charm, and the levels actually feel like exploring a proper haunted house. You collect these little ghost kids to rescue, and some of the platforming bits can be tricky when you're trying to maneuver through tight spaces as a wispy specter.
It's not the deepest game out there, but it's got this weirdly cozy vibe if you're into retro platformers. Definitely one of the better licensed games from that era.
