Casino Funpak is one of those Game Boy games that somehow makes losing fake money weirdly satisfying. You’ve got blackjack, slots, poker—basically the usual casino suspects, but crammed into that tiny green screen. The controls are simple enough that you’ll be flipping cards or pulling the lever within seconds, though don’t expect any fancy animations. It’s all chunky pixels and beeps, but there’s something charming about it.

I spent way too long on the slots at first, mostly because the poker AI kept wrecking me. The blackjack’s decent if you just want to zone out, but the real time-sink is trying to beat the game’s poker face (spoiler: it cheats).
