Captain Ed (japan) Game

Captain Ed is one of those weird little Famicom shooters that feels like it was made in an afternoon. You control this tiny ship that shoots colored blocks—yeah, it's as basic as it sounds. The "super variety" part? Not sure about that, unless they mean the backgrounds change every few levels.
It’s got that early NES charm where everything’s a little janky but kinda endearing. The controls are stiff, and the hitboxes are… questionable. Still, there’s something oddly satisfying about blasting through rows of blocks while dodging whatever the game throws at you. Not a hidden gem, but if you’re into obscure retro shooters, it’s a quick play.
