Okay, so Captain America and The Avengers on Game Boy is basically what you’d expect from a 90s superhero beat 'em up—clunky but weirdly charming. You pick Cap, Iron Man, Vision, or Hawkeye (I always went with Hawkeye because arrows, obviously) and punch your way through waves of robots and goons. The sprites are tiny, and the controls take some getting used to, but there’s something satisfying about bouncing your shield off three enemies in a row.

It’s not the deepest game—you mostly walk right, mash buttons, and occasionally team up with another Avenger for a special move. The boss fights are the highlight, especially when you finally take down the Red Skull. Just don’t expect anything fancy—this is pure, old-school arcade-style action with a side of pixelated nostalgia. If you grew up with comics or just love retro games, it’s a fun little time capsule.
