Bust-A-Move 2 on N64 is that classic bubble-popping puzzle game where you’re shooting colored orbs to match ‘em up before they crush you. The controls are simple—just aim and fire—but don’t let that fool you. The later levels get brutal, especially when the ceiling starts inching down and you’re scrambling to line up that last red bubble.
It’s got that same bright, cartoony look as the arcade version, and the music’s weirdly catchy in that late-’90s way. I always liked how the bubbles make this satisfying *pop* when you clear a big chain. Just be warned: the N64 stick isn’t as precise as an arcade joystick, so you’ll occasionally misfire and curse at the screen.
Great for quick sessions or if you’ve got a friend to take turns with—though good luck not getting competitive when someone clears a level you’ve been stuck on.
