About Bugs Bunny : Crazy Castle Ii
I first played Bugs Bunny: Crazy Castle II on my Game Boy back in 1991. It was published by Kemco, and it fit right in with the other portable platformers of the time. You didn't need a complicated story; the goal was straightforward, and it was perfect for short bursts of play.
You control Bugs Bunny, moving him through a series of single-screen rooms. Your main objective is to collect all the carrots in each stage while avoiding an assortment of Looney Tunes enemies like Yosemite Sam and Daffy Duck. You can't fight them directly. Instead, you rely on doors to move between screens, temporarily escaping pursuers, and you use environmental items like crates to block their paths or trap them. The game gets progressively harder, introducing more complex enemy patterns and layouts that require careful timing. It feels like a tense, methodical puzzle where a single wrong move can send you back to the start.
