Okay, so Buck Bumble is this weirdly awesome N64 game where you play as a cybernetic bee with a machine gun. Yeah, you read that right. The second you boot it up, you’re dropped into this bright, cartoony world where mutant bugs are wrecking everything, and it’s your job to blast them out of the sky. The controls take a second to click—tilting the stick makes you barrel roll, which feels ridiculous at first but actually makes dodging enemy fire way more fun.
The soundtrack slaps (seriously, that main menu theme is permanently stuck in my head), and the levels mix up dogfights with some light exploration. You’ll zip through tunnels, pick up power-ups like homing missiles, and occasionally just stop to hover because the view’s kinda pretty in a low-poly, late-’90s way. It’s janky in places, but that’s part of the charm—like when you accidentally kamikaze into a tree because you forgot bees don’t handle like fighter jets. If you ever wanted to live out your tiny, heavily armed pollinator fantasy, this is the game for you.
