About Boxxle Ii
Thinking Rabbit released Boxxle II for the Game Boy in 1991, a time when the handheld was full of thoughtful puzzle games you could play in short bursts. It was a sequel that built directly on the first game's simple premise, offering more complex warehouse layouts to test your planning.
You control a warehouse worker whose job is to push crates onto specific marked spots. Each screen is a single puzzle room; your main objective is to clear all the targets without boxing yourself into a corner. The core mechanics involve shoving crates one at a time, but you cannot pull them, so a misplaced push can force a restart. Later stages introduce obstacles like immovable blocks and narrow passages that demand careful route mapping. The difficulty ramps up steadily, requiring you to think several moves ahead to avoid dead ends. It feels satisfying to finally maneuver the last crate into place after retracing your steps.
