Boulder Dash on the Game Boy is one of those classic puzzlers that looks simple at first—until you realize how fast things spiral. You're digging through dirt, pushing boulders around, and grabbing diamonds while trying not to get crushed or run out of time. The controls are tight, but some of those later levels? Brutal. I remember getting stuck on one where the boulders just kept cascading the wrong way.
It’s got that old-school charm where every screen feels like a new puzzle box to crack. And yeah, the timer adds just enough stress to keep you sweating. If you dig retro maze games with a side of panic, this one’s still a gem. Pun very much intended.
