Booby Boys is one of those weird little Game Boy gems from '93 that somehow slipped under the radar. At first glance, it looks like a simple platformer—you control these round little dudes hopping between islands—but then the weirdness kicks in. You're collecting... eggs? And sometimes the eggs hatch into power-ups, other times they just explode. Classic Japan-only quirkiness.

The controls take a second to get used to—your jumps feel floaty at first, but once you adjust, bouncing between platforms while dodging enemies becomes oddly satisfying.
