Bomber King is one of those Game Boy classics that somehow makes blowing stuff up feel like solving a puzzle. You start in these tight little mazes, dropping bombs to clear paths—but half the time you're also trying not to trap yourself. The enemies aren't just mindless either; some of them zigzag in ways that'll make you rethink your whole strategy.
It's got that perfect mix of simplicity and "wait, how do I even get past this?" moments. The pixel art holds up surprisingly well, too—those little explosions have way more charm than they should. If you've ever played Bomberman and thought "I wish this was slightly more chaotic," this is your game.
Just don't blame me when you lose track of time trying to beat that one level where everything's on fire.
