Bo Jackson : Two Games In One Game

Man, Bo Jackson: Two Games In One is such a weird little time capsule. You boot it up on your Game Boy and suddenly you’ve got two completely different sports games crammed into one cart—baseball and football, just like Bo himself played back in the day. The baseball side’s got this janky but satisfying batting mechanic where timing matters way more than you’d expect, and the football mode? Pure chaos in the best way. Tiny sprites, brutal tackles, and that classic early ‘90s vibe.
It’s not polished by today’s standards, obviously, but there’s something charming about how rough-around-the-edges it feels. Like, the running animations are hilarious, and the crowd noise is basically just beeps, but you’ll still catch yourself grinding out one more inning or drive. If you’ve got a soft spot for retro sports games, this one’s a fun little oddity to revisit. Just don’t expect Madden—or even RBI Baseball.
