So, Blues Brothers on Game Boy—it’s exactly what it sounds like. You pick Jake or Elwood (I always go Elwood because, well, hat) and run through these weirdly detailed pixelated streets, dodging cops and smashing into stuff. The controls are a little stiff, but once you get used to it, there’s something satisfying about plowing through obstacles like a blues-fueled wrecking ball.
Music’s obviously not the original tracks, but the chiptune versions of the classics are weirdly catchy. And yeah, it’s got that classic '90s platformer jank—enemies spawn in annoying spots, and some jumps feel like they’re just barely possible. Still, if you’re into licensed games with personality, this one’s got it in spades. Just don’t expect it to be easy.
