Blues Brothers Jukebox Game

Blues Brothers Jukebox on Game Boy is one of those weird little rhythm-action hybrids that shouldn’t work but somehow does. You’re basically guiding Jake and Elwood through these side-scrolling stages, dodging obstacles in time with the music—think a mix of platforming and beat-matching. The pixel art’s got that classic late-90s charm, and yeah, the soundtrack slaps if you’re into blues and soul.
It’s not super deep, but there’s something satisfying about nailing a tricky section just as the horns kick in. Some of the later levels get surprisingly tough, especially if you’re trying to keep a combo going. Definitely more fun than I expected from a licensed game—just don’t go in expecting Guitar Hero. Throw on some sunglasses and pretend you’re in a dive bar at 2 AM.
