Blues Brothers 2000 on N64 is a weird, janky, but kinda charming mess. You run around as Elwood (or one of the other band members if you’re playing co-op), smashing stuff, collecting records, and occasionally breaking into musical sequences that feel like someone tried to mash up a rhythm game with a platformer. The controls are a little stiff, and some of the level designs are questionable, but there’s something oddly fun about bouncing between chaotic action and those bluesy soundtrack moments.
It’s definitely a licensed game from that era—rough around the edges, packed with references to the movie, and probably best enjoyed with a friend for maximum ridiculousness. If you’re into late ‘90s oddities or just love the Blues Brothers vibe, it’s worth a laugh, even if it’s not exactly polished.
