Blodia Land is one of those weird, charming NES puzzle games that never made it outside Japan. You’re basically dropping colored blocks onto a grid, trying to match them in rows or columns—but the twist is that the blocks have these little robot dudes (Blodias) on them, and they react when you make matches. Some of them cheer, others look panicked, and it’s oddly satisfying.

The controls are simple—directional pad and two buttons—but the later stages get surprisingly tricky. I kept getting stuck on the third world because the blocks start falling faster, and the Blodias get more dramatic about it. If you’re into retro puzzle games, this one’s got personality in spades. Just don’t expect a deep story—it’s all about the block-matching chaos.
