About Blodia (japan)
Blodia is a Japanese puzzle game released for the original Game Boy in 1990, developed by Kaneko and published by VAP. It arrived during a period when the handheld was becoming a home for thoughtful, portable puzzle games, offering a distinct alternative to the action and adventure titles that dominated the platform.
You control a small character navigating single screen rooms, pushing blocks to clear a path to the exit. Your main objective is to solve each stage by moving all the colored blocks onto their matching panels. The mechanics involve careful block pushing; once a block is set against a wall or another block, it cannot be moved again, forcing you to plan several steps ahead. The game is methodical and can be quite difficult, as a single misplaced block can force a restart. It feels like untangling a stubborn knot with your mind, one deliberate push at a time.
