Block Kuzushi GB is one of those classic Game Boy brick-breakers that somehow makes bouncing a tiny ball way more satisfying than it should be. You start with this little paddle at the bottom, and the blocks up top look like they’re straight out of an old arcade—chunky pixels, bright colors, the works. At first, it seems simple, but then you realize some blocks take multiple hits, and the ball speeds up just enough to keep you on your toes.
What I love is how it nails that "one more try" feeling—you’ll miss a shot, groan, and immediately hit restart. The controls are tight, and there’s something weirdly zen about clearing a whole screen of blocks in one perfect volley. If you’ve got a soft spot for retro handheld games, this one’s a solid time-waster between bus rides or before bed. Just don’t blame me when you lose track of time.
