Blaster Master Boy is one of those Game Boy classics that somehow nails both sides of the action—half the time you're rolling around in this little tank blasting mutants, the other half you're jumping out on foot to squeeze into tight spots. The controls take a minute to get used to (why does jumping feel so floaty?), but once you get the rhythm down, it's weirdly satisfying.

What I love is how the levels loop back on themselves—you'll blast through a corridor, hit a dead end, then realize you needed to drop down that one pit you passed earlier. And the music? Pure 8-bit adrenaline. Just don't get too attached to your tank—losing it means scrambling like an idiot until you find a repair station.

It's tough as nails in spots, but that "one more try" feeling kicks in hard. Still stuck on the lava level, by the way.
