About Bikkuriman World - Gekitou Sei Senshi
Bikkuriman World: Gekitou Sei Senshi came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1987, developed by TOSE. It was part of that wave of NES games based on anime properties, a familiar sight on the platform. You control a young hero named Maou Jr., setting out on a quest that feels very much of its time.
You guide Maou Jr. through side-scrolling stages, using a short-range sword attack against a variety of monsters. The main goal is to rescue the captured Bikkuriman warriors by defeating the bosses that hold them. A key mechanic is the ability to transform into different elemental forms, like fire or ice, each granting a unique projectile attack to solve environmental puzzles and handle specific enemies.
