In the game, you control both Beavis and Butthead, switching between them to solve puzzles and get through levels. The main goal is to find tickets for a GWAR concert, which sends you through their neighborhood and school. You explore screen by screen, talking to characters and picking up items to use in simple inventory puzzles. The combat is basic, mostly just hitting things with whatever you find, and the pacing is slow, with a lot of backtracking. It's not a difficult game, but it can feel repetitive after a while. Playing it feels like a slow, sometimes tedious walk through a simplified version of the show's world.
