So, Battletoads in Ragnarok's World is basically the Game Boy's stripped-down take on the NES classic. You still get the same weird, hyperactive toad action, but don’t expect the full experience—it’s single-player only, and some of the levels got the axe. The controls feel a little cramped on the tiny buttons, but once you adjust, it’s still that same mix of brutal platforming and beat-'em-up chaos.
Honestly, it’s impressive they squeezed this much of the original into a Game Boy cart. The sprites are tinier, sure, but the animations still have that goofy charm. Just don’t go in thinking it’s a 1:1 port—this is more like a condensed, on-the-go version for when you really need to punch some rats in a sewer. Still weirdly fun, though.
