Ever played Zelda II and wished it had more Greek mythology? That’s basically The Battle of Olympus on Game Boy. You play as Orpheus, hacking through monsters and jumping across crumbling ruins to rescue his girlfriend from Hades—classic hero stuff. The gods chip in with upgrades, but don’t expect them to do the heavy lifting.
It’s got that same mix of side-scrolling combat and exploration where you backtrack once you’ve unlocked new abilities. Some of the platforming’s a little stiff, but the vibe is solid—olive groves, cyclopes, and underworld labyrinths everywhere. Just don’t be surprised if you get lost a few times before figuring out where that one hidden path is.
If you’re into retro action-adventures with a mythological twist, this one’s a decent time.
