Battle of Olympus on Game Boy is one of those games that feels bigger than it should—like someone crammed an NES adventure into that tiny cartridge. You play as Orpheus (yeah, the guy from the myths), hacking through snakes and skeletons with a sword that feels just a little too short at first. The music’s got that moody chiptune vibe, and the levels twist through temples and underworld corridors that actually make you stop and think sometimes.
It’s not all mindless slashing, either. You’ll push blocks, hunt for hidden items, and even get turned into a frog at one point (thanks, Hera). The difficulty’s got that old-school bite—expect to retry sections—but it never feels cheap. If you’ve got a soft spot for Greek mythology or just like your action games with a side of exploration, this one’s still worth dusting off.
