Battle Formula (japan) Game

So Battle Formula (or Super Spy Hunter if you're outside Japan) is this weird little NES car combat game that got rebranded as a Spy Hunter sequel—even though it's not, really. You're still blasting enemy vehicles with machine guns and missiles, but the levels feel more like a mix of racing and shoot 'em up, dodging oil slicks and weaving through traffic while helicopters try to bomb you.
The controls take a second to get used to—your car handles like it's on ice at first—but once you figure out the rhythm, weaving through tight spaces while returning fire is oddly satisfying. The music's got that classic Sunsoft punch too, all crunchy bass and frantic energy. Just don't expect a true Spy Hunter experience—it's its own chaotic thing.
