Battlecity Game

Man, BattleCity on Game Boy takes me back. You start off with this little pixel tank, rolling through these tight maze levels where every corner could hide an enemy. At first it feels simple—just shoot the other tanks before they get you—but then you realize you gotta think ahead. Some of those enemy AI patterns are sneaky, and the levels get seriously cramped.
The graphics are pure old-school charm—blocky, but in that satisfying way where you instantly recognize what everything is. And the controls? Surprisingly tight for a Game Boy tank game. You’ll be weaving between bullets and picking off turrets before they pin you down. It’s one of those games where you lose track of time because “just one more level” turns into ten.
If you’ve never played it, don’t let the retro look fool you—this one’s got teeth. The later stages will test your reflexes and patience in the best way possible.
