Batman : The Animated Series Game

If you grew up watching Batman: The Animated Series, this Game Boy game nails the vibe—dark alleys, jazzy soundtrack snippets, and those iconic title card transitions between levels. You start off brawling through thugs in a warehouse (classic Batman), but things get interesting when the gadgets come into play. The batarang feels a little stiff at first, but you get the hang of it after missing a few shots.
Some levels drag a bit—expect a lot of same-y platforming between boss fights—but facing off against Joker or Two-Face makes up for it. The sprite work is surprisingly detailed for a Game Boy title, especially Batman’s cape animation. Just don’t expect Arkham-level depth; this is pure 90s side-scrolling action with a Bat-flavor. Still, it’s way better than most licensed games from that era.
Pro tip: Save your batarangs for the bosses. You’ll thank me later.
