About Batman (japan)
I first played Batman on the NES back in the day, a 1986 release from Sunsoft. It was one of those games that stood out on the system, not just for the license but for how it looked and sounded. You could tell they put some real effort into it compared to a lot of other movie games at the time.
You control Batman through five stages, moving screen by screen to reach the Joker. Your main goal is straightforward: get to the end of each level and defeat the boss. Your primary attack is a short-range punch, but you quickly find a projectile weapon, a three-way shot that becomes essential. You can also cling to walls and ceilings, which is crucial for navigating past enemies and avoiding pitfalls. The game moves at a fast pace and the difficulty is relentless, demanding precise jumps and quick reactions. It feels tense and demanding, a real test of your patience and skill from the very first stage.
